About our instructors


I have been teaching Pilates for over 15 years. My main incentive is to help people reach their best physically, mentally and emotionally. My training includes 4 years teacher training first, with the British Wheel of Yoga and then OCR teaching Pilates, including advanced mat work. My special interest is in teaching functional muscle strengthening to promote balance, co-ordination and bone health. To this end, my classes each comprise elements of Ballet Barre, specific pelvic floor exercises as well as the more traditional matwork. I am also qualified to teach stress reduction techniques which are included in every session. Each of our instructors regularly attends Pilates Instructor courses to keep abreast of the latest advances that bring benefits to clients.


A professional dancer and Advance Mat Pilates Instructor, my qualifications include a 1st BA Hons degree in theatre Dance, Beginners to Advance Matwork through Body Control Pilates, Pre&Post Natal Pilates. I specialise in hypermobility in people, Pilates for dancers, runners and cyclists as well as pre and post natal Pilates. I have extensive experience in dealing with clients in back pain and Scoliosis. I have been teaching Pilates for over 6 years and feel that the combination of my Pilates and dance experience gives my classes a gentle flow with precision to movement and a focus on correct muscle recruitment and endurance.


I have been practicing Pilates since 2000, initially to aid recovery from a minor back injury. Having attended PBBA classes and workshops for six years, I decided to follow my passion for Pilates and become a teacher, gaining my matwork qualification from Body Control PilatesĀ® in 2007. Since then I have also qualified to teach ante and post natal Pilates. I teach classes at various levels from beginners through to the more demanding, classically based repertoire at intermediate/advanced level.


On moving from Paris to London I decided to make Pilates more than a hobby. Since I completed my matwork training with Body Control Pilates, I have deepened my knowledge and expertise in teaching Pilates and am qualified for Low Back Pain, Pregnancy and Bone Health. I use a hands-on approach to teaching, which further enables my clients to enhance their body awareness and find confidence in their abilities through stronger and more stable movement.
